Missions - both foreign and domestic
- is vital to Lansing Bible Church and the body of
Christ. The sign outside the church sanctuary says, "You are
now entering the mission field." Personal missions is an
obligation and joyous duty for all believers, regardless of their
profession or calling, strengths and weaknesses.
Since the
Lord has called us to 'Go and make disciples of
all nations (Matthew 28:19)', Lansing Bible Church gives
prayer, financial, and other support to individuals and mission
organizations. It is also our desire to see men and women
raised up in our own body to be sent out on the mission
field. Our
missions committee meets the Tuesday before the third Sunday of each
month. A missions conference is organized in September of each
year to provide a means to 1) make our body aware of ministry
opportunities on the foreign and home field, and 2) encourage both
prayer and financial support for our active
missionaries.
