Lansing Bible Church is a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching local church. We stand uncompromisingly for the unchanging, inspired Word of God.

We are independent in character in that we are not connected with any sectarian body. The governing power of our Church rests entirely with those whom God has given oversight to under the direction of the Holy Spirit through God's Word.

We are fundamental in faith as opposed to the liberal and apostate section of many of the major denominations rejecting the fundamental tenets of our Christian faith.

We are evangelistic and missionary in spirit. We endeavor to propagate the truth as well as to hold to it. Our desire is to see believers become mature in Christ, live a godly and holy life in this evil world, and share the good news with those who are lost.

The church must exist and function by the principles laid down in God's Word.  Those principles are given to the church to carry on the continuing ministry of its Lord.
Since the church as a whole must follow these principles, we are a Word-centered church.  The Word reveals the following six objectives in reference to the church:
To Glorify God (Romans 15:6; Eph. 3:21)
To Equip the Saints for the Work of the Ministry (Eph. 4:11; Romans 12)
To Maintain Holiness (Eph. 5:26-27; Matt. 18:15-20)
To Evangelize the World (Matt. 28:18-20)
To Suffer when Necessary (1 Peter 2:21)
To Await His Return (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
